Terms of Service

1. Applicability

These terms of service apply to the use of Box16, a SaaS service for neutralising CMR transport documents, offered by Box16 B.V., located at Le Mairekade 77, 1013 CB Amsterdam, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42104995.

By using Box16 you agree to these terms.

2. The Service

Box16 offers:

• Automatic detection of carrier data in CMR documents (Box 16 and Box 23)
• Redaction and replacement of detected data with your own logo, stamp and text
• Storage of processed documents for your configured retention period
• Audit trail of processing actions

3. Use

You may use Box16 for:

• Neutralising CMR documents in the context of your logistics operations

You may not use Box16 for:

• Illegal purposes or processing of unlawfully obtained documents
• Actions that damage the availability or integrity of the service
• Access to data of other organisations

4. Account

• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that take place under your account
• Report security incidents immediately via info@box16.nl

5. Pricing

Rates depend on the selected subscription and the monthly volume of processed CMR documents. Current rates and the corresponding included volumes are listed on the pricing page and in your subscription agreement. Usage above the included volume is charged at the per-document rate stated in your subscription. We announce rate changes at least 30 days before they take effect.

6. Liability

Box16 B.V. is not liable for:

• Damage resulting from incorrect detection or incomplete redaction
• Damage resulting from temporary unavailability of the service
• Indirect damage, consequential damage or loss of profits

The maximum liability of Box16 B.V. is limited to the amount you have paid for Box16 in the 12 months preceding the incident causing damage.

7. Intellectual Property

Box16, including all software, algorithms and UI elements, is the property of Box16 B.V. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service in accordance with these terms.

8. Termination

Box16 B.V. may suspend or terminate your account in case of:

• Violation of these terms of service
• Non-payment (after written notice)
• At the user's request

Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with the privacy policy.

9. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
